Health Care for Kids is a primary care pediatric clinic

Our specialty is taking are of children:

  • Doing those important well-child physical exams
  • Keeping your child's immunization up to date
  • Offering you after-hours flexible care when your child is sick.

Our full-time physicians are committed to getting to know you and your child. A pediatric doctor and a registered nurse are always on duty. We are open from 9 in the morning until 9 in the evening on weekdays, and from 12 Noon to 6 pm on weekends. When you need us - We're here to help!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?

  • If your child is our patient, we can serve you better is you make an appointment for well-child physicals and immunizations.

What is my baby is sick?

  • We see our sick patients, without an appointment, anytime we're open.

What is my child is not your patient?

  • If your child is sick, you can come in after 4 pm and on weekends. IF you think your child needs emergency care, go directly to the Emergency Room at Children's or Cardinal Glennon.

What if my child needs to see a specialty doctor?

  • Health Care for Kids is affiliated with both of our children's hospitals, St. Louis Children's Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. If you child needs specialty care, we'll help you get an appointment as soon as possible.

What if we don't have insurance?

  • Call us. We can help.

What plans does Health Care for Kids participate in?

  • We participate in all Missouri MC+ Plans: Healthcare USA, Care Partners, Community Care and Mercy Health Plans, in several private insurance Plans, and in Illinois Public Aid.
